一种新IP寻呼机制
A New IP Paging Mechanism

【摘要】 近年来,IP寻呼技术得到了越来越多的研究者的关注。现有的IP寻呼机制不能充分利用无线信道资源。本文提出了一种新的IP寻呼机制采用固定寻呼区域结构,在IETF的IP寻呼体系结构中增加一个新的功能实体寻呼配置代理,并引入数据挖掘技术进行位置概率的估算。该机制与现有IP寻呼机制相比可以大大减少IP寻呼对无线信道的带宽消耗。
【Abstract】 IP paging has been attracted lots of attention recently. IETF Seamoby working group and researchers have proposed many IP paging mechanisms. However, the proposed mechanisms cannot utilize wireless channel resources effectively. This paper proposes a new IP paging mechanism, which adopts fixed paging area structure and adds a new function module named as paging configuration agent based on the IETF IP paging protocol. The proposed scheme can estimate location probability in paging area by using the technology of the data mining. It is indicated that the method can reduce the bandwidth consumption of wireless channel compared with the other IP paging algorithms.
