基于分形理论的植物根系图像放大原理和算法

【摘要】 针对植物根系图像的分析处理需要,利用植物根系图像本身具有较好的自相似性的特点,结合分形理论,提出了一种基于分形特征提取,对数字图像进行放大的原理和方法,其基本思想是通过分形理论提取图像的特征信息,用迭代函数系统近似表示原图像,在不同尺度的图像空间迭代重建图像以实现放大。这种方法简单方便,可以实现非整数倍的放大,放大图像主观效果较好,在植物根系图像处理中进行了应用。
【Abstract】 Aiming at requirement in image analysis and processing of plant roots, the image enlargement principle and algorithm based on fractal theory is proposed for enlarging plant root images which have better self comparability. Its main concept is to get the geometry character of image through fractal theory. Then the image can be denoted by an IFS(Iterated Function System) approximately. Reconstructing image according to IFS in different size of image space can realize image enlargement. This method is simple to be implemented conveniently and the image can be enlarged with non integer scale. The subjective effect of enlarged image is better. The proposed method is used in our work of plant root image processing.
