纳米碳酸钙在聚苯乙烯中分散规律的研究

【摘要】 本文用双辊开炼机制备了聚苯乙烯/纳米碳酸钙复合材料,利用透射电子显微镜、粒度分析仪观察和分析了纳米碳酸钙在聚苯乙烯中的分布形态,粒度分析结果表明纳米碳酸钙在聚苯乙烯中的分布特征符合Rosin-Rammler分布.通过对纳米碳酸钙在聚苯乙烯熔体中剪切分散过程的分析得到如下数学式:R=(2Fc/5πkγnβ)1/2=(2Fc/5πkβ)1/2·(1/γn)1/2=A(1/γn)1/2该式揭示了纳米粒子的团聚特征、基体树脂的熔体特征和分散工艺条件等对纳米粒子在聚合物中分散规律的影响,在熔融分散法制备聚合物基无机纳米粒子复合材料时,为合理选择纳米粒子和聚合物、确定工艺条件提供了理论指导.
【Abstract】 PS/nano-CaCO3 composite was prepared by two-roll mill in this study. The morphology of nano-CaCO3 dispersed in polystyrene matrix was observed and analyzed by using transmission electronic microscope(TEM) and particle size analyzer; the particle size analysis indicated that the distributing characters of nano-CaCO3 dispersed in polystyrene conformed to Rosin-Rammler distribution. In this article the shearing dispersed process of nano-CaCO3 in polystyrene was analyzed and an equation was induced as follows: R=(2Fc/ 5πkγnβ)1/2= (2Fc/ 5πkβ)1/2·( 1/γn)1/2 = A(1/γn)1/2. This equation revealed the influence of nano-particles in polymer from three aspects: the characters of agglomeration of nano-CaCO3, the properties of polymer melt, and preparation technology. The results provided theoretical guidance for reasonably selecting nano-particles. resin and technology while preparing inorganic/polymer nano-composites by melting shearing dispersion method.
