颗粒离散元法建模和仿真的若干进展

【摘要】 概要介绍了英国Thornton研究组对颗粒离散元法的若干贡献,本文在理解他们的成果的基础上取得的进展,包括DEM仿真应用研究的部分结果和在湿颗粒DEM建模方面的新成果与新思路,并据自己的体会对该方法作了简单评述。
【Abstract】 Contributions in modeling and simulation of Discrete Element Method by the group guided by Dr. Thornton was briefly introduced. Based on the understanding these contributions, the work done by the authors in DEM simulation for several applications and modeling for wet granular assemblies with interstitial non-Newtonian fluids were presented. Evaluation was done according to the authors’ experience. Some new thinking and plans was presented.
