包钢大方坯六流中间包结构改进与冶金效果的数模分析

【摘要】 运用数值模拟方法,研究了包钢五号大方坯连铸机六流中间包在设置挡墙和坝前后钢液流动行为的变化。计算获得的各流钢液停留时间分布曲线表明,合理地设置控流装置后,中包内各流钢液停留时间增加了两分钟左右, 短路流大大减少,钢液混合更充分,死区比例下降17%;温度计算表明,设置控流装置后,各流钢液温度差异明显缩小。
【Abstract】 The molten steel behaviors in a six-strand bloom tundish with improved flow control structure has been analyzed with numerical methods by the use of Fluent code.The RTD curves have been calculated for each strand of the tundish.It is shown that with the installation of proper flow control devices,the flow pattern in the tundish has been modified and the mixing effect of the molten steel is improved,which lead to a more homogeneous mixture in the melt and it’s temperature.Meanwhile the residual time of the molten steel is increased by two minutes on average,which means that the inclusions will have more time to float up and be caught by the top flux.
