连铸中间包水力模型研究

【摘要】 介绍武钢三炼钢60t双流中间包坝堰水力模型试验。模型与实物的比例为1:3,试验满足弗鲁德准数相似,采用脉冲响应法测定流体在中间包内的停留时间分布曲线(RTD),并计算出流体的扩散活塞流区,全混合区和死区体积比,用染色法显示流场形态。结果表明,采用两坝四堰式隔墙可使中间包内死区体积比降低到7%,此外,中间包塞棒有阻止涡流产生的作用。

【Abstract】 This paper discribes the water model experiment for the 60 t double-stream continuous casting tundish at WISCO No.3 Steelmaking Plant. Water model scale was 1 : 3. Experimental conditions satisfied Froude number similarity. Minimum residence time distribution (RTD) curves were determined by pulse response and proportion of plug flow, mixed flow and dead volume were calculated. Flow patterns were visualized with dye as the tracer. Results indicate that two dams/four weirs decrease the dead volume to 7 % in the tundish. The stopper can prevent vortex formation.
