【Abstract】 The lightweight steel structure is a new kind of steel structures. It has developed most rapidly and been applied widely in industrial, resident and public buildings for all of its advantages, such as fast and easy construction, attractive appearance, light weight, low constructive price etc. This paper presents the review and summary of the development situation of the lightweight steel structures in China and other countries.
