ICF用磁性聚苯乙烯靶材料的制备研究

【摘要】 聚苯乙烯(PS)是ICF实验中重要的靶丸材料.磁性聚苯乙烯材料有利于实现靶丸在辐射场中的无接触支撑.本文采用溶胶一凝胶法制备了BaFe12O19纳米颗粒.然后以油酸为表面活性剂.苯乙烯为载液制备了稳定的BaFe12O19可聚合磁流体.将可聚合磁流体经自由基引发聚合制成纳米BaFe12O19/PS均匀分散体系.用XRD、FTIR、TEM、SEM、DSC-TG及振动样品磁强计对所得产物进行分析表征.研究结果表明:制备的磁性BaFe12O19为六角品型.平均晶粒粒径为19nm.矫顽力Hcj约为2.2KOe,剩余磁化强度Br约为4.2KGs:聚合成的BaFe12O19-PS复合体系为均匀分散体系.当磁粉含量由1%增加到6%时,复合体系的矫顽力Hcj从 30.3Oe增加到1036Oe.

【Abstract】 Polystyrene (PS) is important materials used as ICF (Inertial Confinement Fusion) target materials. The aim of the present study is to fabricate magnetic target materials, BaFe12O19/PS composite, so as to realize the symmetrical fusion by the noncontacted holding methods. The nano-particals of BaFe12O19 were prepared by a sol-gel method. A stable polymerizable magnetic fluid of nano-BaFe12O19 was obtain by dispersing oleic acid-coated BaFe12O19 nano-particles in styrene as a carrier liquid. A uniformly dispersed of nano-particals of BaFe12O19 in polystyrene has been acquired by the free radical polymerization of polymerizable magnetic fluid. The characteristics of the nano-BaFe12O19 and BaFe12O19/PS composite had been analyzed by XRD, TEM,SEM,TG-DSC, FTIR and VSM methods. The results indicate that the average diameter of prepared BaFe12O19 is 19nm, coercive is 2200Oe; The modified BaFe12O19 nano-particals are dispersed homogeneously in polystyrene, the coercive of the composite system increase from 30.3Oe to 103.3Oe when the content of magnetic powder changes from 1 % to 6%.
