水基泡沫高温稳定机理探索
The effect of hydrophobic chain length of surfactant on foam stability at high temperature

【Abstract】 Foam was used in many fields such as cosmetic, oil recovery, mineral flotation, food and so on. Some times they were used under high temperature even bigger than 300℃, while the foam stability decreases sharply. The foam stability stabilized by AOS (α-olefin sulfonate) with different hydrophobic chain length n= 14, 16 and 20-24 at temperature below 100℃ and above 200℃ was investigated by foam column decay method and foam block in sand-pack pipe. The interface viscoelasticity of surfactants adsorbed layer was measured by oscillating bubble rheometer. It was found that the abrupt increase of viscoelastic modulus for AOS 20-24 might be produced by crosslink of hydrophobic tails, and a new model of low molecular weight surfactants stabilizing foam mechanism under high temperature was discussed.
