【Abstract】 Aiming at getting better dopent suitable for LCD,A series unsymmetrical dimesogenic compounds having cholesteryl and 4-trans-(4-n-alkylcyclohexyl) phenoxy group were synthesized. Compared with published dimesogens,they exhibit low and wide phase transition temperature and simple thermal behaviour, they have significant features of good thermal stability, high HTP and low viscosity in their N* phase. They can be used in liquid crystal display device applications as a chiral dopant of liquid crystal mixture.更多还原
