低温合成纳米CdS/TiO2水溶胶的研究
Synthesis of photosensitized nanocrystalline TiO2 hydrosol by nanosized CdS at low temperature

【Abstract】 Nanosized CdS acting as effective and stable sensitizers, which is coupled to TiO2 by microemulsion-mediated solvothermal hydrolyzation followed by acidic peptization of the precipitate under 70°C, makes it possible to utilize visible light in photocatalysis. In addition, the ‘coupled’ systems are believed to act in a cooperative manner by increasing the degree of charge carrier separation, which effectively reduces recombination. The method is highly simplified and thus eliminates a need of the filtration, sintering, milling and dispersion steps. CdS was successfully incorporated into TiO2 at 0.9% (mol/mol). The hydrosol with small crystalline particles of 1-2 nm diameters was thermodynamically stable and showed a good dispersibility. The photocatalytic activity of the hydrosol was confirmed through the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue (MB) dye under visible light irradiation.
