【Abstract】 Several novel triphenylamine-rhodanine dyes were synthesized and used as sensitizers in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC). The highest overall photoelectric conversion efficiencies (η) and the maximum monochromatic incident photon-to-current conversion efficiency (IPCEmax) were, respectively, 4.8% (AM1.5G, 80 mW/cm2) and 76%.
