六次甲基四胺构筑的一个新配位聚合物[Cd2Cl4(hmt)(MeOH)2]
A new cadmium coordination polymer based on hexamethylenetetramine

【Abstract】 Metal-organic coordination polymers have been largely investigated because of their special properties in catalysis,absorption,optics,electronics,magnetic etc. Hexamethylenetetramine (hmt) is a potentially tetradentate tetrahedral ligand. Mostly, hmt ligand gives nets with alternate metallic and organic centres. Reported herein are the synthesis, crystal structure and some relevant physicochemical studies of a new 3-D coordination polymer [Cd2Cl4(hmt)(MeOH)2] with interpenetrating diamond nets formed from Cd connectors and hmt nodes. The geometry of the supramolecular array is driven only by the hmt units.
