黄铁矿处理重金属废水及其表面反应研究
Heavy metal wastewater treatment by pyrite and surface reaction of pyrite

【Abstract】 Treatment of acidic heavy metal wastewater by pyrite instead of chemical agent was studied. The removal rates of heavy metal ions of Pb2+, Hg2+, Cd2+, Cr(VI), Cu2+ and Tl+ were from 96% to 99%, showing the very effective removal by pyrite. The surface reaction in pyrite and the interaction between pyrite and heavy metal was investigated by reflectance spectroscopy and absorption spectroscopy. The diffuse reflectance FTIR spectroscopy(DRIFTS)showed that the surface hydroxyls in pyrite reacted with heavy metal ion in the process of wastewater treatment, furthermore, the phenomenon of the acidic wastewater drove to neutrality naturally after treatment was reasonably explained by analyzed carbonate in pyrite. A process of adsorption-precipitation from Cr(VI) to Cr3+ and to Cr(OH)3 was proved by absorption spectroscopy and XPS during pyrite treated Cr(VI)-bearing wastewater.
