【Abstract】 By using ammonium bromide and dimethyl carbonate as reactants, and EMImBr as catalyst, the yield of tetramethylammonium bromide was 96.5% at 443 K for 8 h. Without catalyst, only trace of the product was formed. Obviously, EMImBr is an effective catalyst toward the quaternization of ammonium salt.更多还原
