三维编织UHMWPE纤维增强PMMA复合材料体外吸湿性能的研究

【摘要】 本文采用真空浸渍方法制备了三维编织UHMWPE纤维增强PMMA(UHMWPE3D/PMMA)复合材料,并重点研究了该复合材料的吸湿性能。研究结果表明,三维编织纤维复合材料的吸湿规律与长纤维复合材料不同,初期与Fick扩散定律略有偏差;随着纤维体积含量的增加,UHMWPE3D/PMMA复合材料的平衡吸湿量明显降低;纤维表面处理改善了界面结合,使得UHMWPE3D/PMMA复合材料平衡吸湿量降低;UHMWPE3D/PMMA吸湿平衡后的力学性能满足使用要求。

【Abstract】 Three-dimensionally (3D) braided UHMWPE fiber reinforced PMMA (UHMWPE3D/PMMA) composites were produced by vacuum impregnation technique. The present study is carried out in order to determine the moisture absorption properties of the 3D composites. The results show that the UHMWPE3D/PMMA composites exhibited a complicated moisture absorption behavior. Different from continue UHMWPE fiber composites, the unsaturated moisture absorption behavior of the UHMWPE3D/PMMA composites could not be described by the Fick’s law of diffusion at earlier stages. With increasing of fiber volume fraction, the saturated moisture content of the UHMWPE3D/PMMA composites decreased. The results clearly show that the saturated moisture content of the UHMWPE3D/PMMA composites exhibited reduction for fiber surface treatment. The mechanical properties of the moisture-saturated UHMWPE3D/PMMA composites met needs.
