【摘要】 本工作创造了在笼养条件下收集脱羽对海南山鹧鸪成鸟换羽进行研究的方法.以此确定了全身各部分羽毛及全部羽毛的替换期和替换高峰期.其中全部羽毛替换期是5月下旬至11月下旬,替换高峰期在8月初至10月上旬内.克服了研究换羽必须对成鸟捕捉观察的难点.避免了由于捕捉压力而可能出现不典型换羽的误差.为野外在换羽期利用脱羽确认本种鸟类的存在提供了理论依据.更多还原

【Abstract】 The adult moult of the Hainan Hill-Partridge was studied from 31 May to 29 November 1991. The method of collecting feathers fallen from adult in captivity in moult season was used,which was a new method created during our research. The moult periods and the peak moult periods of different parts of bird’s body and of total feathers of the birds were determined with this method. The moult period of total feathers of the Hill-Partridges is from the last ten days of May to the last ten days of November. Its peak period is from the beginning of August to the first ten days of October. In the study of the Hainan Hill-Partridge moult, we overcame the difficulty of catching them for observing. This study provided a theory basis to affirm the existence of the Hainan Hill-Partridge in the forests by finding their fallen feathers in moult season.更多还原
