新的提高感应电动机起动转矩的离散变压变频软起动方法
A New Method of Discrete Variable Voltage Variable Frequency Soft Start to Increase Torque for Thyristors Driving an Induction Motors

【摘要】 传统电机软起动器具有起动平滑,轻载节能等优越的性能,正广泛应用于各领域中。然而它的一个严重的缺点是减小电压会降低起动电磁转矩,使电机带载起动失败。这使得传统软起动器只能用在负载不大的场合。但感应电机的许多应用都是要求能带重载、满载起动的。一种新的离散变压变频等效正弦控制方法被提出。不改变传统软起动器的电路结构,该方法能把三相供电交流电源分成离散的子频率。通过基于DSP的软起动器驱动感应电动机控制系统实验平台,该方法被验证具有良好的起动转矩和电流性能。
【Abstract】 Conventional soft starters are being used in many fields with their advantages like smooth acceleration, energy savings with a light load. However, they have a severe demerit that a small reduction in voltage produces a considerable drop in electromagnetic torque, which may cause the motor with loads failure to start. This implies that the traditional soft start method has limited applications where the starting torque requirement of the mechanical load is not high. Unfortunately, there are many applications that the motor needs to start with full loads. A new improved discrete variable voltage variable frequency equivalent sinusoidal control method is presented. Without changing the circuit of the conventional soft starters, the method divides the frequency of the AC power into discrete sub-harmonic frequency. It makes the motor produce low current impact and high starting torque. It has been verified experimentally on a laboratory machine using a DSP-based soft starter-fed induction motor drive system to have good starting torque and current performance.
