退役CS-22回旋加速器的修复利用

【摘要】 美国加州大学赠送的一台退役的CS-22型同旋加速器,我们进行了全面整修,更换了各种真空密封圈,在磁极面上刷镀了铜,重新安装了磁铁、D盒和高频系统,离子源及其传动机构,外束引出系统、真空系统和外束管道:修复了各种电源及控制系统,设计了联锁保护系统,经过调试,现已调出内束并引出外束,制备了18F,提供教学、科研之用。
【Abstract】 A CS-22 Isochronous Cyclotron, which had been withdrew from use and came to Beijing Normal University by gift from UCLA USA , was repaired and recommissioning. The rusted pole tips were re-copperized with electrodeposition. All aged O-rings including the 1 meter diameter O-rings between pole base and pole tip plate were changed. Magnet, vacuum system, RF system, ion source system, beam extraction system and so on were overhauled and re-assembled. 22Mev Proton beam were extracted, but beam currents only a few micro-ampere, since many pieces of equipment have to be retired from service. A little amount of 18 F was provided We will renew several equipments and promote the performance of the cyclotron.
