【Abstract】 According to the writers’ current study,the Jurassic-Cretaceous transitional deposits can be lithologically divided into the Jiufotang Formation(above),the Yixian Formation (middle)and the Chaomidianzi Formation(below),of which the Chaomidianzi Formation is newly established and subdivided into the Hengdaozi Member(above),the Jiulongsong Member(middle)and the Sihetun Member(below).The Chaomidianzi Formation is dis- conformably underlain by the Tuchengzi Formation and conformably overlain by the Yixi- an Formation.On the basis of the fossil evidences,the Jiufotang Formation is considered to be of an age of Early Cretaceous,the Chaomidianzi Formation is assigned to Late Jurra- sic,and the Yixian Formation remains open for further study in age.更多还原
