西藏聂拉木地区侏罗系地层的划分和对比

【摘要】 <正>一、前言喜马拉雅地区侏罗系地层分布广泛,呈东西向展布。早在二十世纪初,乌利格(Uhlig) 1903—1910年对喜马拉雅西段斯匹提地区的侏罗系进行了比较详细的研究。喜马拉雅山脉中段的珠峰地区,侏罗系研究较差。1903年印度的海登(Hayden,H.H.)在岗巴附近发现了侏罗系,菊石化石经阿克尔(Arkell)1953年研究描述,确定了龙马灰岩的地层时代属中侏罗世巴柔期。
【Abstract】 The Jurassic is widespread in the Nyalam (聂拉木) area,Xizang (Tibet). This article deals with its subdivision and correlation with Jurassic strata in other areas. On the basis of ammonites and bivalves the system may be divided into five stratigraphical units in ascending order: 1)Pupuga (普普嘎) formation:This consists of siltstone in the lower part and limestone in the upper;assigned to Early Jurassic in age. 2)Nieniexiongla (聂聂雄拉) formation:This is a newly recognized unit, which comprises limestone and is considered Bajocian in age. 3)Lanongla (拉弄拉) formation:The formation also newly established in this paper is characterized by the abundance of invertebrate fauna.It may be referred to the Bathonian in age. 4)Menbu (门布) formation:This is a new stratigraphical unit and be- longs to the Callovian and Kimmeridgian in age. 5)Xiumo (休草) formation:This is a newly considered stratigraphical unit and may be subdivided into two members.The formation is assigned to Tithonian in age. The Jurassic and the Cretaceous are in conformable contact.Based on the ammonites the Gucuocun (古错村) formation is here taken to be Early Cretaceous. By comparison with the Spirt (斯匹提) area of western Himalaya,it is concluded that the Jurassic system in the Nyalam area can be correlated with spirt area and is more complete than that in the latter.
