Ce2Fe17-xCox合金的结构与磁熵变研究

【摘要】 在氩气气氛中用熔炼法制备了Ce2Fe17-xCox系列合金,通过粉末X射线衍射和SQUID磁强计研究了样品的结构和磁熵变。结果表明,Ce2Fe17-xCox系列合金具有菱方Th2Zn17型结构,居里温度可通过离子替代而改变,Ce2Fe17-xCox合金有较大的磁熵变,且致冷温区较宽,是一类有可供选择的室温磁致冷材料。
【Abstract】 A series of Ce2Fe17-xCox alloys were prepared by arc melting under purified argon atmosphere. By means of X-ray diffraction pattern and SQUID magnetometer, structure and magnetic entropy changes in Ce2Fe17-xCox alloys were investigated. The results show that, the crystal structure is Th2Zn17-type rhombohedral for Ce2Fe17-xCox alloys; the Curie temperature of Ce2Fe17-xCox alloys can be shifted to room temperature around by a small adjustment of composition. Magnetic entropy changes ( - △SM ) near Curie temperature are relatively large in a comparatively wide range of temperature for Ce2Fe17-xCox alloys. Ce2Fe17-xCox alloys are provided with alternative materials for room-temperature magnetic refrigeration.
