【Abstract】 This paper introduce the most popular EDA tools to do Static Timing Analysis: PrimeTime of Synopsys Inc. and Pearl of Cadence Inc. We also compare the input files、output files、 work flow、 characteristics、 reports of the two kinds of EDA tools. The script in the paper can be used in static timing analysis.
