Ti添加对烧结Nd-Fe-B磁体力学性能和磁性能的影响

【摘要】 研究了Ti对烧结Nd-Fe-B磁体微观形貌和磁性能的影响,对不同Ti含量磁体的抗弯强度及维氏硬度进行了测量。XRD和SEM分析表明: Ti在磁体中形成了高熔点的TiB2相,TiB2相有效抑制了品粒长大,显著细化了磁体微观组织。同时过量添加Ti导致Nd2Fe17相的出现,磁体矫顽力显著降低,退磁曲线的方形度明显变差。磁体的维氏硬度随Ti含量的增加而显著降低,硬度的降低有利于改善磁体的可加工性能。

【Abstract】 The effect of Ti on the microstructure and magnetic properties of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets was studied. The bending strength of magnets with different Ti content was measured by three-point bend test and the Viker hardness was also tested. XRD and SEM show that TiB2 with high melting point is founded after the addition of Ti. TiB2 effectively suppresses the grain growth during sintering process. The decreasing contents of B in the magnetic matrix phase lead to the reduction of HA and the occurance of Nd2Fe17 which ultimately give rise to both low coercivity and poor squareness of demagnetization curves. Viker hardness decreases with the increasing contents of Ti. The decreasing hardness and increasing fracture toughness ultimately lead to the improvement of machinability of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets.
