Gd2Fe17化合物的结构及磁性
Structural and Magnetic Properties of Gd2Fe17 Compound

【摘要】 对电弧炉熔炼的具有六角相Th2Ni17型结构的Gd2Fe17化合物,在1050℃退火条件下使之转变为菱方相Th2Zn17型结构。采用X射线衍射及磁测量手段研究了这两种相结构的Gd2Fe17化合物,研究结果表明,在这两种结构中,Gd2Fe17化合物的居里温度基本相同。计算表明室温下Gd2Fe17化合物中Gd的原子磁矩约为1.4μB,而Fe次晶格的磁矩约为11.8μB。
【Abstract】 After annealing with the temperature 1050℃, the arc-melted Gd2Fe17 compound with a hexagonal Th2Ni17-type structure turned its structure to the rhombohedral Th2Zn17-type structure. The structure and magnetic properties of these compounds were investigated by X-ray diffraction and magnetization mea- surements. The results show that the Curie temperatures of these compounds are almost the same. The calculation results show that the magnetization of Gd atom at room temperature is about 1.4 μB and the magnetization of Fe-sublattice is about 11.8 μB.
