【Abstract】 The intergrowth of two or more kinds of zeolites is a quite common phenomenon.The intergrowth zeolites normally have the similar structure.For example,both of MCM-22 and ZSM-35 have the same structure of 10-membered ring.They can be obtained respectively in the same synthesis conditions.The intergrowth zeolites like ZSM-5/ZSM-11,BEA/MOR, MCM-22/ZSM-35 etc.are considered as the crystal mixtures and their structures and performances are not well established in the literature.The XRD and N2 adsorption studies of MCM-22 and ZSM-35 show no differences between the intergrowth zeolites and mechanic mixture,but their catalytic performances are quite different.Hyperpolarized 129Xe NMR can increase the sensitivity greatly compared to the thermally polarized one.It is a powerful tool to detect the porosity of materials and the distribution of the particles inside.We have established such a system under continuous follow of hyperpolarized Xe and employed it to characterize the porous structure of nanocomposites.In this presentation,the porosity and framework structure of MCM-22/ZSM-35 intergrowth zeolite are studied by HP 129Xe and 27Al 3Q MAS NMR,respectively.
