基于上行流量特征的P2P流识别研究

【摘要】 在P2P网络中,节点兼具服务器(server)和客户机(client)的双重角色,这就使得P2P网络中的主机可以同时上传和下载文件,从而充分使用网络的上/下行链路带宽。与非P2P节点比较,P2P节点具有不同的流量特征。基于这一特征,结合P2P应用的行为特点,提出一种基于上行流量特征的P2P流识别模型。仿真实验结果表明,该方法能够有效识别P2P业务流。
【Abstract】 In P2P networks,the nodes have the characteristics of double roles——server and client.This makes the host which is running on P2P could upload and download simultaneously,thereby it can use the bandwidth of uplink and downlink efficiently. Compared to non-P2P nodes,the P2P nodes have different traffic characteristic.Based on this characteristic,combined with the P2P behavior characteristic,we develop a new model for identifying P2P traffic flows using uplink traffic characteristic.The experi- ment results show that this method exhibits good performance for identifying P2P flow.
