红点锦蛇腹鳞表面的超微结构及摩擦性能研究

【摘要】 为探索减小粘附和摩擦阻力的新方法,本文对红点锦蛇腹部鳞片进行了研究.用原子力显微镜 (AFM)观察了腹鳞表面的超微结构;用多功能摩擦磨损实验机,研究了腹鳞——不锈钢球摩擦副在不同载荷及不同滑动速度情形下的干摩擦特性,并与 A3钢的摩擦特性进行了对比;分析了腹鳞表面的减阻机理.结果表明:红点锦蛇腹鳞表面的超微结构由三角形微凸体、微孔和凹坑周期排列而成;腹鳞的摩擦系数随着载荷和滑动速度的增加而减小,摩擦系数值在0.11~0.15之间,远小于 A3钢的摩擦系数(为0.5左右);腹鳞的减阻机理是:腹鳞材料的剪切强度较低,表面的微凸体减少了腹鳞的实际接触面积,这些均减小了剪切粘着力;腹鳞表面的疏水性减小了接触面间水膜的粘附力.

【Abstract】 To find out a new method for decreasing-adhesive force and frictional resistance,this paper re- searched on the Elaphe rufodorsata’s ventral scale.AFM was used to observe the ultra-structures of the scale’s surface.In the dry friction condition,multi-function friction and abrasion apparatus was used to study the frictional properties of the ventral scale and stainless steel ball at different sliding velocities and nor- mal loads,compared with the friction properties of A3 steel,whose reducing resistance of the ventral scale is analyzed.The results show that the ultra-structures of the Elaphe rufodorsata’s ventral scale are composed of the periodical arrayed triangle micro fibers,micro pits and concaves.Moreover,the frictional coefficient de- creases with the increase of normal load and sliding velocity,the frictional coefficient of which is between 0.11 and 0.15,and this value is far lower the one of the A3 steel of 0.5.The reducing resistance principle of the ventral scale is that the shear intension of the ventral is relatively low.The micro fiber can reduce the real con- tacting area of it,which also reduces the adhesive force of shearing.The hydrophobic property of the ventral scale reduces the adhesive force of the water film in between the contact interface.
