聚丙烯对超高分子量聚乙烯摩擦磨损性能的影响

【摘要】 <正>虽然超高分子量聚乙烯(UHMWPE)具有优良的摩擦磨损性能,但由于其自身固有的缺点如热变形温度低、表面硬度差等而不能满足实际的使用需要。为了提高UHMWPE的耐磨性能, 常采用加入耐磨填料或交联方法。但填料的加入或交联均使原本难于加工的UHMWPE的加工性能更差。研究表明,一定量聚丙烯(PP)的加入,可使UHMWPE在一般单螺杆挤出机上挤出加工。本文研究了UHMWPE/PP共混物的摩擦磨损性能。
【Abstract】 The anti-wear property of UHMWPE can be improved by blending it with appropriate amount of PP. The friction coefficient and wear rate of UHMWPE are much higher than those of UHMWPE/PP blend. ’Shish-debab’ like crystal is formed in the worn surface of UHMWPE/PP blend due to the long time shearing, stretching and annealing effect during sliding, the crystal domain in the worn surface of UHMWPE seems smaller, the bonding between the domains seems weaker. Serious oxidized transfer film of UHMWPE is formed on the surface of the steel counterpart. No transfer film but fine powder could be found in case the steel ring surface slid with UHMWPE/PP blend. The improvement of wear resistance is due to the rod-like debris existing between the contact surface of UHMWPE/PP and the counterpart, transferring sliding friction to rolling friction, the friction coefficient and wear rate are thus reduced remarkably.
