自润滑高速球轴承液氮环境下性能试验与失效分析

【摘要】 研究了采用玻璃纤维增强PTFE复合材料保持架的9Cr18全钢轴承在液氮环境下以40000r/min转速运转时的润滑性能,分析了轴承失效原因与特征。结果表明该自润滑球轴承在径向/轴向载荷为2940/3920 N条件下能够从保持架上获得足够的转移膜润滑,而在载荷达到3900/5800 N时失效。保持架中玻璃纤维划伤轴承球表面并加速转移膜剥落,使轴承不能获得稳定润滑,从而导致轴承在球与套圈滚道接触表面处失效。失效轴承以轴承球上转移膜环带以及套圈滚道表面微裂纹、微疲劳和粘着磨损为主要特征。

【Abstract】 The lubricating performance of 9Cr18 stainless steel ball bearing with PTFE composites retainer reinforced with glass fibers operating at 40000 r/min in liquid nitrogen was examined. The causes and characteristics of the bearing failure were analyzed. The results show that the bearing operated well in the presence of lubricating film transferred from the retainer under radial load of 2940N and axial load of 3920N, but failed under radial load of 3900N and axial load of 5800N. Because the glass fibers scratched the ball surfaces and accelerated the spalling of the transfer films from the ball surfaces, the bearing experienced failure in the absence of stable lubrication at the contact surfaces between the balls and raceways. The bearing failure was characterized by the formation of a circular band of transfer film on the ball surfaces and micro-cracks, micro-pits, and adhesive wear on the raceway surfaces.
