等离子弧淬火对缸套耐磨性能影响的研究

【摘要】 通过改变等离子弧淬火工艺中的扫描螺距,对缸套进行了等离子弧淬火,考察了淬火硬度与表面磨损及摩擦系数的关系。结果表明:缸套经等离子弧淬火后,表面生成细密的变形白口马氏体类型的高硬度组织,硬度可达805HV, 比常规热处理的高200HV,硬化层厚度达0.2~0.6mm,宽度为3~6mm;且硬度分布由外及里变化平缓、合理,从而避免了因硬度过大引起的内部微裂和开裂现象,提高了缸套内壁的耐磨性。与未淬火试样相比,磨损质量损失和摩擦系数均不同程度地减小,磨损量平均降低了近70%,摩擦功耗呈降低趋势。

【Abstract】 A cylinder liner was treated with plasma arc quenching by changing the scanning switch-pitch. The relationship between the scanning screw-pitch, quenched surface hardness, surface wear weight loss, and friction coefficient of the plasma-arc-quenched cylinder liner sliding against a piston ring specimen was experimentally investigated on an RFT-III reciprocal friction and wear tester and theoretically analyzed. As the results, the cylinder liner after plasma arc quenching showed better friction-reducing and antiwear behavior. This was attributed to the structure modification and hardness increase after the quenching. Namely, dense and fine woven mar ten site of high hardness was generated on the cylinder liner surface after the plasma are quench treatment, and the modified-surface layer had hardness of 805HV and was 0.2-0.6mm thick and 3-6mm wide. The change of the modified-surface hardness was gradual, which was beneficial to prevent the inner-micro-cracking in the modified layer, and hence the wear resistance was increased.
