高油玉米研究进展
Research advance of high oil corn

【摘要】 高油玉米是20世纪人工创造的一种高附加值玉米新类型。高油玉米的研究始于1896年,在过去的100 多年里,世界各国的玉米育种学家先后从高油玉米油分的积累、含油量的遗传、油分含量与籽粒产量和植株其他性状的关系,高油玉米种质的改良、创新及杂种优势类群划分与杂优模式,高油玉米品种选育和高油玉米生产等方面对高油玉米开展了大量的研究,并取得了可喜的成就。但是,目前高油玉米的发展比较缓慢,究其原因有3点:一是高油玉米种质资源狭窄;二是目前所利用的高油玉米种质多为温带材料;三是高油玉米的专业化生产水平比较低。由于热带亚热带玉米种质中蕴藏着丰富的遗传多样性,所以引进、改良和利用热带亚热带玉米种质是拓宽温带高油玉米种质遗传基础的有效途径。这些措施都为高油玉米的发展扫清障碍。
【Abstract】 High oil com is a new type of corn with high added value which were made by human beings in 20th century .The study on high oil com began in 1896.During more than one hundred years, com breeders around the world have studied accumulation of com oil, inheritance of com oil content, relationship between com oil content and kernels yield and other characters, improvement and innovation of high oil maize germplasm, classification of heterotic groups and establishment of heterotic pattern on high oil corn germplasm, breeding for com varieties with high oil content and production of high oil com and so on. Great achievement of high oil corn has been achieved. However, the progress of high oil com is slow at present. There are three main causes are responsible for that. First, the germplasm resources of high oil corn are limitted. Second, nowadays the germplasm of high oil com used in breeding mostly were temperate material. Third, the production of high oil com is still slow. Because tropical and subtropical maize germplasm contains ample genetic diversity, introduction, improvement and utilization of tropical and subtropical maize germplasm is efficient method to widen genetic base of temperate maize germplasm of high oil com.
