【Abstract】 through briefly analyzed the present situation of paddy production from farming areas, outputs, qualities, main extension technologies and so on in Yunnan province from 2000 to 2004, it was generally recognized that the paddy producing capacity was not enough, the quality needed to be enhanced as a whole.
