用高效聚光系统实现LD抽运Yb:YAG板条激光器调Q输出
LD Side-pumped Q-switched Yb:YAG slab laser using a novel optical structure with highly transmission efficiency

【摘要】 本文报道了采用带有微柱镜的二极管阵列双侧面抽运的Yb:YAG板条激光器,实验中使用的激光晶体尺寸为6mm×10mm×1mm,掺杂浓度为3%。由于 Yb:YAG阈值很高,故将泵浦光通过自行设计的聚光系统聚焦成10mm×1mm的光斑,聚光系统的效率为75%,晶体内部功率密度达到393kw/cm3。当激光器采用平-凹腔结构时,耦合输出为6%时激光单脉冲输出能量最高为25.5mJ。光-光斜率效率为13%。插入声光调Q晶体获得4.7mJ的调Q脉冲输出,脉宽为24.8ns.
【Abstract】 In this paper, a laser diode arrays two-side-pumped Yb:YAG slab laser employing miao-lens was developed, the Yb:YAG slab was 6mm×10mm×1mm in size. and the doping concentration was of 3at%. because of the high lasing threshold of Yb:YAG a novel structure was. designed to focus the pump beam as small as 10mm×1 mm in profile size. The transmission efficiency of the structure is about 75% and the pump intensity could be readied as high as 393kw/cm3. The maximum output pulse energy of 25.5mJ with slope efficiency of 13% was obtained from a plano-concave cavity with an output couple of 6%. Once an AOM was inserted into the cavity, Q-switched pulse with energy of 4.7mJ and pulse width of 24.8 ns were achieved.
