稀土金属与铁的相互作用

【摘要】 评述了铁与从 Sc 到 Lu 全部稀土金属的相互作用与合金化行为。无论原子尺寸差,还是电负性差都不利于 RE 在铁或铁在 RE 中的固溶度,只有 RE 在铁中固溶度少于1wt%以及铁在 Nd 中固溶度为 4wt%。在重稀土-Fe 系中出现有2:17,6:23,1:3,1:2。四种化学计量比化合物和约8种晶体结构;而在轻稀土-Fe 系中只存在2:17和1:2两种化学计量比化合物和约6种晶体结构。REFe2 and RE2Fe17中间相简约转变温度随着原子序数的增大而降低,但也在 Ce 和 Yb 处出现反常高值。简约共晶转变温度也有类似的情况。

【Abstract】 According to the available informations of established some of Fe-RE phase diagrams and intermediate phases,the sketch maps of simplified phase diagrams of Fe-RE systems were drawn up in this paper.The interaction and alloying behaviour between Fe and RE metals were reviewed through the solid solubilities,and the various reactions(e.g.the eutectic and peritectic reaction).Either of atomic sizes or electmegaties are not beneficial to the solid solubilities of RE in Fe or Fe in RE-metals,and the solid solubilities are less than 1wt% or zero,but only the solid solubility of Fe in Nd is 4wt%.There are 4 stoichiometrical intermetallic compounds with 2:17,6:23,1:3 and 1:2 in heavy RE-Fe systems.The compounds have about 8 crystal structures with protype like MgCu2,MgZn2,PuNi3,Th2Znl 7,Th6Zn23,CaCu5 and so on.But there are 4 Stoichiometrical intermetalic compounds and about 6 crystal structures in ligth RE-Fe systems.With increase of atomic numbers of lanthanide,the reduced transformation temperatures of the REFe2 and the RE2FeI7 intermidate phases are decreased,but anormaly large value is occurred at Ce and Yb.A criterion exists between the reduced transformation temperature(Tp(m)/Tre)and the atomic radii of RE metals: the Tp(m)/Tre values dedine with the decrease of the atomic radii of RE metals.
