【Abstract】 A solid geometry model of porthole die is built up by Pro/e. Numerical simulation of the lacunaris panel porthole die extrusion is made using the forge software of FEM. The load-stroke curve can also be obtained, which is the basic information for selecting the press. The stress fields and strain fields at every step can clearly be displayed, which is a new way to study the relation between the die structure and the metal flow. It can be guided for development of mis kinds of products processing and die design.更多还原
