【Abstract】 This article introduces the researches of disaster prevention technology and its application in the design and construction work of Guangdong Science Center. The researches include the study of environmental soil and rock engineering, the technology for treatment of large-area soft soils, the art of seismic isolation, the structural health monitoring, the fire resistance and bearing capacity of giant steel structures, and the study of wind resistance of large-span shell structures. Based on theoretical and experimental results, the author puts forward some new technique with key problems in design and building, its rationality is verified by the applications in Guangdong Science Center. The studies presented in this paper provide valuable references for similar engineering.更多还原
