【Abstract】 In order to evaluate the performance of business process, we propose a new kind of workflow simulation model,SimNet, which is a time-extension of the layered workflow model. Based on simulation model, we discuss several factors including time, resource and scheduling rules, which have impact on the performance of workflow, and present the computing formula of several KPIs(Key Performance Indicators),such as(average)cycle time, (average) throughput and(average)utility ratio of resource. To aid people put workflow simulation in practice, this article proposes a framework to obtain satisfactory results via correct simulation steps.更多还原
