【Abstract】 The authors studied retrospectively 18 misdiagnosis of oral an maxillo-facial malignant lymphoma cases admitted between April 1984 to April 1994. There were clinically 15 misdiagnoses out of 18 patients (misdiagnosis rate 83.33%). The biopsy of pahtological misdiagnosis rate was 11.11 %(2/18). The results are similar to what reported in references. The major cause of misdiagnosis was the complexity of the disease clinically and pathologically. The authors concluded that doctors should different the disease from chronic inflannation and metasatic carcinomas, either radiation or chemotherapy has nice effect on the disease with correct pathological diagnosis.更多还原
