【Abstract】 A verter chamber (VC) was constructed by CSU and installed in the BESII by IHEP. The chamber consists of 12 concentric layers of straws. There are a total of 640 straws, each is 8mm in diameter and 840mm long. We have obtained a primary spatial resolution of 80μm for Argon ethane (50%/50%) at 3 atmospheres absolute.更多还原
