【Abstract】 Development of green product is a key technology that realizes sustainable development of manufacturing. Product life cycle assessment is a tool that evaluates the environmental impact of a product through its entire life cycle. It presently catches more and more attention. In the paper, its concept, framework and applications are summarized. Present impact assessment methods are analyzed and summarized and its limits are indicated.
