纳米微晶纤维素的硅烷偶联剂表面改性研究

【摘要】 纳米微晶纤维素是一种具有较大长径比的高结晶性材料,作为高分子材料的功能改性剂具有很好的前景。但由于纳米微晶纤维素表面极性高,通常分散在水溶液中加以利用,制约了其在非极性及弱极性高分子体系中的应用。采用硅烷偶联剂KH570对NCC进行了表面改性,以期改善NCC的表面性能,提高其在弱极性体系中的分散性能。通过FTIR分析表明KH570已成功接枝到NCC表面,热重分析表明表面改性后的NCC的热稳定性得到明显的改善,且吸水率明显下降,残余质量提高,X射线衍射分析表明改性前后NCC的晶型没有发生变化;改性前后的NCC在不同溶剂中的再分散性能表明,采用KH570对NCC进行表面改性能够较好地改善NCC在弱极性溶剂中的再分散状态,使NCC在弱极性及非极性体系中的应用成为可能。
【Abstract】 Nanocrystal cellulose (NCC) is a kind of material with high degree of crystallinity and large aspect ra- tio.It is a good candidate for polymer functional modification.However,for high surface polarity,NCC is usu- ally used in solution status,that restricts the application of NCC to weak polar or no-polar polymer matrix.In this paper,in order to modify the surface property of NCC and improve the dispersion of NCC in weak polar or no-polar solvents,silane coupling agent KH570 was used as surface modification agent.FTIR analysis indicated that KH570 was grafted to the surface of NCC.TG analysis show after surface modification that the thermal stability of NCC is improved.Its water adsorption is lower and weight residue is increased,Dispersion experi- mental in different solvents show that surface modified NCC can he well scatted in weak polar solvents.The re- sult indicated that NCC can be applied to weak polar or no-polar polymer matrix.
