Er3+、Yb3+共掺杂新型磷酸盐玻璃材料1.5μm波长红外发光的研究

【摘要】 报道了一种新组份掺Er3+磷酸盐玻璃材料,对其1.5μm红外光发射进行了测量,发现其有大的有效半高宽,适合目前光通讯中波分复用(WDM)所需光纤放大器材料的要求。计算了Er3+离子之间交叉弛豫几率,通过求解跃迁速率方程,得出了1.5μm红外光发射效率与Er3+掺杂浓度的关系。
【Abstract】 In this paper, we report a kind of Er3+-doped phosphate glass with new composition. the emission spectrumnear 1.5μm-wavelength has been measured. It has been observed that the emission spectrum has bigger effectivewidth of fluorescence and will be very useful to improve transmitting rate in fiber communication. So it is a goodmaterial needed by fiber amplifier. We have also calculated the cross -relaxation probability between 4I13/2——4I9/2 and4I13/2——4I15/2. Then by solving equations of fluorescent dynamics, the relations between the fluorescent character andthe concentration of Er3+ ions are studied, and their laws are given.
