一维类梳状结构光子晶体的带隙研究

【摘要】 本文从界面响应理论出发,研究了一种在主链上接两种不同介电常数及不同长度的分支构成一维类梳状光子晶体的带结构。通过对无限长的一维类流状结构的色散关系及在有限个节点上接两种不同分支时电磁波透射系数的计算,发现这种结构具有较大的光子频率带隙。其带隙宽度由所接分支的长度、数目、结构的周期及介电常数的对比度决定。并且采用同种材料构成此结构时也存在较宽的带隙。
【Abstract】 The photonic band structures in one-dimensional comblike waveguide which made of dangling twodiffierent side branches grafted periodically along a infinite monomode waveguide were investigated. By usinginterface response theory, we considered the dispersion relation of a infinite guide and calculated the transmissoncoefficient T through the waveguide when the side branches are grafted at a finite number of N of site. Numericalresults show that the width of the gaps is related to the length and the number of the side branches, to the periodicity, aswell as to the constrast in dielectric properties of side branches materials and the backbone. Nevertheless, relativelywide gaps still remain when the constituent materials are identical.
