从人物形象塑造看卡波特在纪实小说中的感情倾向

【摘要】 兴起于二十世纪六十年代的纪实小说以客观认识再现事实为最根本特征。其开山之作《凶杀》一书的副标题也定为"一场谋杀案以及它后果的真实记录"。然而小说中主人公的人物形象塑造的角度,笔者认为作者卡波特通过巧妙地选材和杜撰,塑造了一个引人同情的较为正面的案犯佩里·史密斯的形象,由此体现出纪实小说的艺术加工中不可避免的真实性与艺术性,客观与主观的矛盾。更多还原

【Abstract】 The works of new-journalism are supposed to be based on true events in real life,but whether the objectivity can be fully achieved in those works has always been controversial.As the pioneering and classic work of new-journalism,In Cold Blood is claimed by Truman Capote to be a real account of a murder case.However,through careful scrutiny,I conclude that by choosing and making up certain materials favoring Perry Smith,the author gives a positive as well as pathetic portrayal of the murderer Perry Edward Smith.Therefore,the book becomes a manifestation of the inevitable conflict between objectivity and subjectivity in creating the novels of new-journalism.更多还原
