锂离子电池正极材料LiNi0.80Co0.20-xAlxO2合成及表征

【摘要】 本文以LiOH·H2O、Ni2O3、Co2O3和Al(OH)3为原料,采用固相反应法合成Co-Al共掺杂的LiNiO2化合物LiNi0.08Co0.02-xAlxO2,并进一步用TG-DTA、XRD、SEM和电化学测试等实验手段对材料的结构与电化学特性进行表征。结果表明Co-Al共掺杂能改善该材料的综合性能;掺杂量x=0.05时,LiNi0.80Co0.15Al0.05O2的首次放电容量达178.2mAh/g,20次循环之后容量还保持168.2 mAh/g,容量保持率为94.4%;而相同情况下的LiNiO2首次放电容量为180.7 mAh/g,20次循环之后容量只有147.6 mAh/g,容量保持率仅有81.7%。与未掺杂的LiNiO2相比,该材料显示出良好的循环性能,是一种很有应用前景的锂离子电池正极材料。

【Abstract】 In the present study, samples of LiNi0.80Co0.20-xAlxO2 (x=0.015, 0.05 and 0.10), prepared by solid state reaction from LiOH·H2O, Ni2O3 and A1(OH)3 under oxygen flow. The microstructures and electrochemical properties of the reaction products were characterized by TG-DTA, XRD and electrochemical tests equipment. LiNiO2 simultaneously doped by Co-Al was tried to improve the performance of cathode materials. The results showed that co-doping definitely has a large beneficial effect on cathode materials’ characterization. LiNi0.80Co0.15Al0.05O2 whose Al dopant is x=0.05 has 178.2 mAh/g of the first discharge capacity and 168.2 mAh/g of 20th discharge capacity as compared with 180.7 mAh/g and 147.6 mAh/g for LiNiO2, respectively. It is a promising cathode material for lithium-ion batteries.
