低温对辣椒杂种一代及其亲本幼苗叶片中保护酶活性的影响

【摘要】 利用辣椒杂种一代及其亲本幼苗为试验材料,进行低温处理。通过亲本与杂种一代间SOD 和CAT活性及MDA积累量的比较与相关分析。结果表明,亲本和杂种一代的两种酶活性变化及 MDA积累量之间均呈极显著正相关,但是杂种一代早丰一号无论是光照或黑暗低温胁迫下, SOD活性变化及膜脂过氧化水平均明显偏向其母本,表明辣椒杂优利用耐寒性育种具有较高参考价值。另光照条件会加重低温引起的活性氧对辣椒幼苗的伤害。
【Abstract】 The effect of low temperature on the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) which are known to have a protective role against active oxygen toxicity in plant cells was investigated with three pepper cultivars ( Capsicum annuum) Nanjing Zao Jiao (chilling-tolerant), Qie Men Tian Jiao (chilling-sensitive) and their hybrid (F1). The SOD activity of pepper leaves was enhanced clearly in three days after low temperature treatment. At the same time, malondialdehyde (MDA) content was reduced slightly. Then the SOD and CAT activities were decreased, and MDA contents increased obviously. Similar relationships were observed in the three varieties. However, compared with chilling-sensitive variety, chilling-tolerant one had higher protective enzyme activities. The highly significant regative correlations between MDA content and SOD activity, and between MDA content and CAT activity were obtained. The experimental result provides a evidence for that the metabolism of active oxygens is closely related to the cold hardiness of pepper seedlings. The effect of SOD on the membrane lipid peroxidation was greater than that of CAT. The varietal chilling tolerance had a possible relation. to the small inhibition of the protective enzyme systems in pepper leaves. The change of SOD activities and MDA contents in leaves from hybrid and parent of pepper to low temperature in the dark or light showed that the cold tolerance of hybrid progeny was similar to that of the maternal line. Light would aggravate active oxygen injury to pepper seedlings at lwo temperature.
