1997年夏季台湾岛以东黑潮及其附近海域水文特征

【摘要】 基于1997年7月“中日副热带环流合作调查”第三航次的水文资料,对台湾岛以东黑潮及其附近海域的水文结构和环流特征进行了分析研究,得到结果为:(1)台湾岛以东海域冷水涌升和暖水下沉现象明显,温、盐、密度等值线呈波动状.(2)黑潮水的T-S曲线呈S型,自上而下有四种类型水,即高温次高盐的表层水、次表层的高盐水、中层低盐水、深层低温水.黑潮无分支,它在台湾岛东南海域由东南向西北偏北向流,到达台湾岛附近转向东北,位于123°E以西,沿着台湾岛东岸由南向北流.(3)黑潮东侧有一个暖的反气旋式环流系统W1,在σt=24.80 kg/m3等密度面上,W1有南北两个中心,在σt=27.20 kg/m3等密度面上,两个中心合一,呈椭圆形由北向南伸展,其内等值线封闭,其外开口向北.(4)在冲绳岛以南海域,有反气旋武暖涡环流系统W2,深层较上层W2范围大,中心东移.(5)在W1以东及W2以南海域为冷水区,主要气旋式冷涡为C1,这里冷水涌升明显,涌升最强的层次位于200-500 m层.(6)台湾岛以南巴士海峡附近,有一个低盐、高密度的冷水区.在S0断面上黑潮水与南海水相互交叉入侵,水团分布复杂.南海中层水和深层水可影响到台湾岛东南海域.
【Abstract】 Based on CTD data collected from the cruise of the China - Japan Joint Investigation on the Subtropical Circulation System during July 1997, the hydrograhic structure and circulation characteristics of the Kuroshio east of Taiwan Island and its adjacent regions are discussed . The results show that: (1)east of Taiwan Island , the upwelling of the cold water and downwelling of the warm water both exist evidently,where the distributions of the isotherm, isohaline and isopycnic are wavelike; (2)the T - S curve of the Kuroshio water is S-shaped,indicating that four water masses exist from the surface to the lower , i. e. , the high-temperature and subhigh-salinity surface water,the high-salinity subsurface water,the low-salinity mid-water and the low-temperature deep water, the properties of the four water masses change with season. There is no branch of the Kuroshio. The Kuroshio southeast of Taiwan Island flows from the southeast to the northwest until reaching near Taiwan Island , and then flows northward west of 123° E; (3) in region east of the Kuroshio Current,there is an anticyclonic warm eddy W1.At the isopycnic surface of σt= 24.80 kg/m3, there are two central positions in W1,but at the isopycnic surface of σt = 27.20 kg/m3, there is only one center W1:(4) in south of the Okinawa jima there is also an anticyclonic warm eddy W2,and its extent is larger in lower layer than that in upper layer and its center moves eastward. In area east of W1 and south of W2, there is a cold and cyclonic eddy C1,where the upwelling of cold water is evident.The upwelling is mainly in 200-500 m; (5) near the Bashi Channel area south of Taiwan Island, there is a cold water with low salinity and high density. At Section S0,the Kuroshio water and the South China Sea water intrude alternately, resulting in a complicated distribution of the water masses there. The middle layer water and deep layer water of the South China Sea can influence on the area southeast of Taiwan Island.
