大面积长方塑料闪烁体两种镜面反射方式下的γ探测效率研究

【摘要】 实验研究了大面积塑料闪烁体探测器在有空气层镜面反射(AS耦合)方式下和无空气层镜面反射(NS耦合)方式下,探测效率随γ射线入射位置的变化规律,结果表明采用AS耦合方式,探测效率随γ射线入射点到信号采集端距离变化很小,而采用NS耦合方式,对近信号采集端入射γ射线探测效率较高,随入射γ射线距离的增加探测效率明显下降。因此,大尺寸狭长塑料闪烁体探测器反射层采用AS耦合效果比较好,可以提高远距离入射粒子的探测效率。
【Abstract】 When large area rectangular plastic scintillator possess specular reflection behind a thin layer of air(AS mode)and specular reflection without air(NS mode),the orderliness of detection efficiency variety vary from the T-rays incidence position is studied.As a result,to the scintillator of AS mode there is a tiny variety of detection efficiency from the distance ofγ-rays incidence position to PMT;whereas,to the scintillator of NS mode,there is a distinct variety of detection efficiency from the distance ofγ-rays incidence position to PMT.The AS mode can advance the detection efficiency of farer distance incidenceγ-rays,and AS mode is first-rank reflection mode of large area rectangular plastic scintillator.
