若干玉米自交系间杂交结实性的研究

【摘要】 CML301和CML304分别与普通玉米自交系进行正反交和测交试验,结果表明它们不能接受其它玉米自交系的花粉,表现为果穗不结实;但是相同的亲本之间反交,正常结籽。这说明它们具有单向杂交不亲和的特性。这种特性可能是由显性配子体基因GA或GA的等位基因控制的。通过回交可以把这种杂交不亲和的特性转育到其它的材料中,如甜玉米等由隐性基因控制的特殊胚乳性状的玉米类型上,使其不受外来异型花粉的侵染,达到遗传隔离的目的。

【Abstract】 Reciprocal crosses and backcrosses were made among some field inbred lines and CML301 and CML304. It is indicated that CML301 and CML304 pollinated by these lines’ pollen had no seed setting, but the reciprocal crosses between the same parents resulted in normal seed setting. Therefore, CML301 and CML304 are two unidirectional cross-incompatibility materials which should be attached importance to. It is considered that in this case incompatibility reaction is controlled by Ga factor or allele sufficiently similar to Ga. By the use of backcross methed incompatibility factor can be transferred into lines of other corn, such as a particular endosperm characteristic corn (e.g., Waxy, high amylase, etc) so that it won’t be infected by foreign pollen, thus achieving genetic isolation.
